Tiktok Banned
There are millions of TikTok users in America. Last year, a strict step was taken to ban it under a law. Due to this, TikTok had to stop its service. Its effect was seen all over America. Everyone got worried. TikTok was used a lot in America.
Why was the ban imposed?
The US officials knew that TikTok could put the country’s security at risk. And they had already advised about this. They were worried because of ByteDance’s stake in TikTok. And they believe that the proposal was passed because of the stake. And this is a big threat to America’s security. Officials say that China spies on the people of America through TikTok. Or it can spread false things through TikTok.
The Trump government will decide whether to pass the TikTok proposal or remove it?
The Trump government had said even before the elections that it would not remove the app. Keeping in mind the security of America, Trump is taking a lot of time to decide whether to pass the proposal or remove it. And it is also certain that due to the responsibility of the security of the nation, Trump will take a decision very wisely.
Supreme Court
TikTok appealed to the Supreme Court against this ban, but the Supreme Court said that these are questions of national security. For this reason, we are rejecting this proposal instead of passing it.
TikTok says
TikTok is dissatisfied with the Supreme Court’s response. America did not take complete information and did not take any concrete steps. The government had also started services like “Project Texas” to monitor the spying of its people. Even then, the TikTok company is angry with the rejection of the TikTok app.
This app is collecting confidential information of American citizens. And the MPs believe that there should be some control over it.
